Although it feels like I have been working in insurance forever, I have been working in insurance since 1986 (with a small break in between). I initially fell into insurance when a friend told me that they were looking for someone in the typing pool at their workplace. Over the years I have built a reputation for an outstanding work ethic: I am always on time, strive to be diligent, and I take pride in what tasks I do. On a personal note, moving from Quebec to Western Canada is something that I am very proud of.

I have been in the insurance industry for 16 years, ever since I graduated. I have never left the insurance industry, except for when I got pregnant for the first, second, and third times! I am passionate about the insurance industry because it makes me think, teaches me to solve problems, and allows me to exercise patience and social diplomacy. I would definitely describe myself a smart, friendly, and polished professional who is cool in a nerdier kind of way.
I am most proud of the fact that I have four children, including a set of twins, and still I am still mostly sane! Professionally, I take great pride in my ability to adapt comfortably to the changing roles and positions I have working in the insurance industry. Overall, I enjoyed being a facilitator the most! (i.e. Customer Service Rep, Manager, Facilitator, Administrator). In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing, and working out and being active. I also love watching my kids play together, until they start fighting, then I love headphones.

- Science
- The Arts (theatre, dance, art work, and music)

Bio:
Nine years ago, I was a newly single stay at home mom who was looking for a career rather than a job, so started asking friends about their occupations. I spoke with someone who had such enthusiasm about the place that she worked in, and I asked if she could pass my resume along. I had a great interview with Scott and Terry and they agreed that if I could get my level 1 license they would make a spot for me at Treasures Insurance. I called a week later, after passing my exam – and the rest is history.
I love insurance! Insurance keeps me sharp: the tasks are different every day, I have to be able to adjust priorities on the fly, and always ensure that everything is accurate. Thanks to my years of experience in insurance, I am able to prioritize my duties in such a way I can get the paperwork done, as well as assist clients who call in with urgent requests. Insurance is one of the most important things that all business owners must consider, and I am determined to make sure they are covered correctly. I would describe myself as a friendly person, although I can be reserved at first. Despite this, I have built excellent rapport with numerous clients and underwriters.
On a personal note, I’m most proud of raising my three kids (Two sons – ages 28 & 19 & a daughter – age 17), but after that I am proud of showing them that learning never ends and even if things don’t go quite the way you planned – there is always another path! If one door closes, go to the next door and open it – that’s how doors work!
Personal Interests & Hobbies:
- Shopping in Spokane and Seattle
- Cheering for my daughter's roller derby team
- Spending time with my three kids
